It is with great pride that we welcome you to HUCE for ICONS 2026 and W123/W099, a milestone event that reflects our university’s enduring commitment to sustainable development and global collaboration. In 2025, HUCE was honored to be designated by the Prime Minister as one of five key national technical universities within Vietnam’s Network of Higher Education and Pedagogical Institutions (2021–2030, vision to 2050). This recognition affirms our role as a leading institution in shaping the future of engineering education and research. As we approach our 60th anniversary, this event stands as a testament to the innovation, resilience, and shared vision that define our academic community.

ICONS 2026 and W123/W099 marks a pivotal moment for HUCE, not only as we celebrate our 60th anniversary, but also as we advance our national mandate to lead a Center of Excellence in new materials and construction technologies — entrusted to us by the Ministry of Education and Training under Decision No. 374/QĐ-TTg. This conference, enriched by the joint strands of CIB W099 and W123, reflects our commitment to building an Industry 4.0 ecosystem that connects universities, enterprises, authorities, and global partners. We are especially proud to co-organize this event with the University of Wolverhampton, whose leadership will be instrumental in our special session bridging the construction industries of Vietnam and the UK.
