Submission options, Guidelines to authors, Conference proceedingsThe CIB Commissions (W099) Safety, Health, and Wellbeing in Construction and (W123) People in Construction are pleased to partner with Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and the University of Wolverhampton in organizing a joint international conference (hereinafter referred to as the CIB W099/W123 & ICONS 2026), to present cutting-edge research and innovation aimed at achieving human-centric sustainability within the global built environment. This focus prioritizes the construction workforce and seeks to advance the industry's performance and image through improved worker well-being and quality of life, promote the adoption of advanced engineering technologies to foster resilient management systems, comprehensive safety cultures, and equitable, healthier workplaces worldwide. CIB W099/W123 & ICONS 2026 invites original research contributions from professionals from industries, academic institutions, government agencies, research scholars and students from across the world. The paper should be original research and should not have been published in any journals or conference proceedings. CIB W099 Track 1: Digital Innovation and Technologies for safety, health and wellbeing All the submitted papers will be double-blind reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process for further improvements in the manuscript. PublicationsPapers accepted by the scientific committee will be published in the Journal of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering (JSTCE) under Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE). The websites for publication in English under ISSN 1859-2996. The organising committee is in continual discussion for possible Special Issues with Scopus-indexed journals should the authors request. Guidelines to authorsRegular abstracts should be 300 words maximum. Abstracts and full papers should be prepared using the template available here. Upon acceptance, the CIB W099/W123 & ICONS 2026 copyright form should be also provided by authors. Authors who have received notification that their abstract has been accepted must submit their full article in their personal space (by logging to the website) by completing their initial submission, which can be found in My Space > My Submissions. Presentation guidelinesThe author(s) is expected to present at the event in-person and deliver a 15-minute presentation (with Q&A). Poster presentation is optional. The layout of posters is free, no poster template is imposed by the conference organisers. Please prepare an A0 poster and bring the hard copy with you (if you print by yourself) or we will support for printing (display must be completed before May 15, 2026). The printing fee is covered by the author(s). |
